In many of the cases a mutual friendship exists between these “gentle giants” and their Human owners.

Faux leather (fake leather)

Fake leather is essentially “Look & feels like” genuine leather.

Instead of being made of genuine Leather, these fabrics are made of other materials and with the right treatment they look like leather.

There are many reasons why to choose faux leather; it is way cheaper than using genuine leather.

There are several methods by which fake leather can be prepared. Sometimes it is made of materials like polyvinyl chloride (PVC). Other times, cloth material, made of components like polyester or cotton, and than coated with substances to replicate the look of leather.

Our Fake Leather products are in High quality, and contain PVC resin or plasticizer use additive of color pigment and combined with genuine cotton fabric used as stabilizer, therefore it’s stable, flexible, and stay as such for long time.

Many of the widely existing cheaper quality fake leathers in the market contains paper (instead of fabric), they will not last long; fake leather material based on paper are not recommended by us.

We can print almost any design on the fake leather, and in sharp high quality colors.
Also many existing print designs and colors are available, but incase you are interested to print your own designs and colors on our fake leathers it is possible.

Brass

A metal with yellowish color and reflection intended to be confused with Bronze.

Brass is made of approximately 67% copper and 33% zinc.
It is a very strong metal, more durable than copper, but less than steel.

In the beginning Brass had been created occasionally by “mistake” during the intended production of bronze, and at some stage revealing its good character it had become separated from bronze, independent and with a name of its own.

It intends to develop patina after being used and exposed to the elements (patina is natural forming of protective film on the metal’s roof which protects and resists against oxidation, and corrosion process; old used brass jewelry will appear in different color accordingly, 1 of the factors to determine whether an item is authentic used or authentic new made).

Brass had been widely produced for many years in a variety of products, and known for its vintage captive look it will become shiny easily with polish.

Our brass production is done by hand casting, a traditional way, and is not coated with lacquer.

Care, maintenance

Row brass is intend to attract corrosion after a while (unless it developed patina), losing its shiny look, it is recommended to polish it periodically by using soft polishing cloth made of leather or velvet (avoid any highly abrasive cleaners, to prevent scratches).

Clean it with alcohol or a very mild abrasive before polishing and rubbing with olive oil to resist the corrosion.

Incase the brass become tarnished already it is possible to use vinegar to remove the tarnish (or a mixture of lemon and salt), to be gently applied on it to drive tarnish out before starting the polish.

Incase you have any allergy for Brass, or feel any irritation forming while using items made of brass, choose other material to wear instead;

We also recommend wearing our Brass Dayak earring coils, by putting them through any kind of eyelets first (the eyelet or tunnel used as a burier between the brass and the earlobe), that they will not contact the earlobe skin directly, in this way you make sure no sensitivity exists while keeping the outstanding look of these extra ordinary pcs.

It is also possible to wrap a cotton cloth on the metal part which touches the earlobe, preventing direct contact between the metal and the earlobe skin while keeping the great look of it.
With these simple maintenance steps, your brass pc will always look great, shiny and attractive, to be enjoyed for very long time.

Incase the brass is as inlay on other organic body jewelry, take it into account when cleaning it as some of the organics will not “party” with acidity maybe exist in certain cleansing agent; than only plain soft cloth polishing in recommended.

Bronze it’s very hard, harder than brass, and been widely used with metal moving parts which are in constant contact, such as in engines, car gears etc.
It high resonance made bronze the right choice raw material in the art of bells making.

Bronze is 1 of the most widely used metals through history, dating back thousands of years; its unique characteristics & appearance reflects from the ancient traditions to these days.

It intends to develop patina after being used and exposed to the elements (patina is natural forming of protective film on the metal’s roof which protects and resists against oxidation, and corrosion process; old used bronze jewelry will appear in different color accordingly, 1 of the factors to determine whether the item is authentic used or authentic new made).

We recommend wearing our Bronze Dayak earring coils, by putting them through any kind of big enough gauge eyelets first (the eyelet / tunnel used as a burier between the bronze and the earlobe), that way they will not contact the earlobe’s skin directly, making sure no sensitivity exists and avoiding it in advance, and its keeps the natural look of these powerful pcs;

It is also possible to wrap a cotton cloth on the metal part which touches the earlobe, preventing direct contact between the metal and the earlobe skin while keeping the natural look of it.

Incase you have any allergy for Bronze, or feel any irritation while using items made of bronze, choose other material to wear instead.

Copper was in used for thousands of years as discovered to be 1 of the first metals used by humans; it is in high demand in growing range of industries to this day.

It intends to develop patina after being used and exposed to the elements (patina is form of natural protective film on the metal’s roof which resists oxidation, and corrosion process; old used non polished copper jewelry will have different color as result).

Copper claimed to hold various healing properties and many jewelry designs had been made for serving this purpose through history and in different cultures (although it had not been scientifically proven yet).
Old cultures found to have used copper intensively as for its anti-microbial properties and its purifying nature for wide range of purposes includes medical.

Our copper jewelry and inlays are simply beautiful, and reflects the passion it drives, its appearance and additional charm to any jewelry are outstanding.
It is hand casted traditionally, and is not coated with lacquer;

Care, maintenance

Used Row Copper intends to appear with greenish color on its roof as result of developing patina naturally from exposure to the elements, contact with skin, sweat, body fluids etc.

This protective film is actually very good as a shield, and also claims to add character to the item.
How ever it is possible & easy to polish it to a shiny state by using soft cloth, vinegar, or lemon juice will efficiently do the job.

Incase you have any allergy for Copper, or feel any irritation while using items made of Copper, choose other materials to wear instead.

Incase the copper is as inlay on other organic body jewelry, take it into consideration when cleaning, as some of the organics materials will not “party” with acidity some cleansing agents may contain; than only soft cloth polishing or natural oil is recommended.
